Yosemite Valley

This is a photo I took on a spontaneous trip to Yosemite with a couple of friends in November 2002. We left Fresno in the wee hours of the morning and arrived at the Tunnel View parking lot just before sunrise. There was only one other person there. The fog moved through the valley floor in waves. We could hear the sound of Bridalveil Falls in the distance. It was quiet and calm and absolutely breath-taking.
