My precious girl, Carmelita takes a nap after a long walk with her mama. Her island of red is the bright red you see under her. She rests on an afghan I made for my husband for Christmas the previous year, so she sleeps upon a symbol of my love for both she and my man. What better symbol of Valentine's Day could there be?
