Picture Fresno is a photo journey of life in and around Fresno. Each week, members of the community submit photos in response to a theme or challenge, and a panel of judges selects a weekly favorite. Together, these photos tell the story of Fresno.

This is my mother with me next to her. In the picture are 6 of the 7 children my mother has adopted over the last 15 years. She also had 3 biological kids. 10 of us total. Next month she has been married to my dad for 30 years. This was on a trip that we all took to Avila beach right before all of the kids went to Disneyworld. My mother gives her everything for her children, as well as any other kids, adults, and animals that happen to be in need.
