I managed to convince my parents to visit me when I studied in London for a month last summer, and my mom has yet to stop raving about it since. I have countless photos of my mother in front of all the amazing sites that city has to offer, but this has remained my favorite photo of her during our trip. I caught her looking at Westminster Abbey with such awe and affection, I had to take this candid shot. It warms my heart every time I glance over it, simply because I know how much that trip meant to her.
