This was taken last year at The Big Fresno Fair. We were scolded right after the picture was taken because a sign was posted that said "please do not photograph the hats." I'm not sure if the distortion of the picture is because it was so hot that day or if it's because my mom was rockin' that hat so much. Either way, my mom is the perfect mom for me. She beats me every time at Scrabble and taught me everything I know about being true to yourself.
