Does this adorable face look familiar? It is one of our own Fresno Zoo giraffes. I made Pinky, this 21x18 inch quilted wall hanging, for a 2006 quilt guild Think Pink Challenge. It was made on a treadle sewing machine, think foot power, no electricity, the fun way to quilt! For the challenge I wanted a little humor and the photo my husband took was one of my favorites so he became pink and needed a bright green leaf to nibble.
